I read a lot of blogs, especially history blogs here in Houston. I don’t remember which one I found the reference for this from but I did download it from the library. This is a Houston City Directory published in 1866, a year after the war finally ended. The ads are fun enough of a read, but the most interesting part is the account of the first 30 years or so of Houston from its founding in 1836 to the then present day in 1866.

I gleefully took that new battery out to put into the charger tonight to only discover it was the wrong battery. Oh well. They really tried. I am impressed.

I found my Q card. It had fallen out my bag and onto the floorboards of the car. I found it hiding under the seat when I got home. The little bastard…bad card… bad! No No!
