Chaosbutterfly

We have another overnight scheduled so I’m going down there on Saturday afternoon for that. Next weekend we are supposed to be starting the sail training up again and I’m seriously considering just doing the volunteer thing instead.   If you are wondering why, it’s mostly because I really nearly broke myself last year.  My body needs to take it easy, I was really hurting and I didn’t realise just how much until after words when I could hardly move.  I need to take better care of myself.

The fact that my Dad is coming down for that weekend too doesn’t help matters either.  There will be a lot of festivities in Clear Lake next week for the 40th annaversery of the Apollo 11 lunar landing and my Dad will be in town for it all.  Looks like I may be running around with him for a large part of that and I need to clean up the boat and make it nice for his stay.  All the hotels are booked.  I warned him.  I have the AC in the companion way and it will be a pain to go up to the bath house in the middle of the night.  It will be fun to catch up with him and I’m looking forward to it.  But boat living isn’t for him.  Oh well.
