The Kingdom of the Wetlands has a new King. Kane now is king and from the looks of it, I think he will do very well.
He’s well organized and a very good RPer. He’s already started a cool thread of RP and I’m looking forward to messing with him and the reign. (Sorry, my paladin persona would never let an oppressive Fascist reign get away with taking over the kingdom so easily.) Looks like there will be a big Steampunk element to this reign and I’m really looking forward to this.
I am adopting a couple of squires who belong to Sir Horus. He’s a friend of mine who’s currently now working as a truck driver and is out of state. That makes it hard on his squires so, I’ll help them out a little.
The event was actually smaller than I had hoped. The politics I mentioned earlier took it’s toll unfortunately. I daytripped it so I got there around 14:30 Saturday afternoon. I think I missed the only significant class battle. Oh well, I got to hang out with my friends. I haven’t done that in a very long time and it was good to see them all.

All my Elissa volunteering has kept me away from Amtgard for a long time and I needed to see them. Currently, there is another overnight going on this next weekend. However, I haven’t heard back from them. I think I’ll just call them tomorrow and see what’s up with that. It will be a Friday over night. It’s hard for me to get to those, but I’ll make my best effort. I know, I know, I missed Plankowners. Yea, it’s the biggest fundraiser of the year. Sorry. I’ll really try to make it next year. I promise. See, it’s recorded now.

ApolloCon will be happening at the end of the month on June 26-28, 2009. Snicker and I are doing the Media room. I’ve sent them my stuff, but I’ve not seen it up yet. Here’s the flyer for the Iron Director Contest. It promises to be a lot of fun, I hope we get some good participation this year.
