Moving the plot along…

I’ve made a lot of additions to my site, but mostly ones you cannot see without an admin account. I’ve realized that if I am to move away from the vanity site mode to something sharable, it will take some considerable contemplation on my part. When I came up with the site Chaosbutterfly, I was mostly interested in posting other person’s stories and adding a few of mine. I can still do that, but I think it is moved beyond that in my own head to being something of a creative desktop. It is where I blog and organize my creative projects. I don’t really see it as a way to make money, but there may be a need to introduce advertising to help pay for the page. There are a lot of very cool and creative tools out there avaliable for free, it’s just focus that I lack to pick and chose which ones I want to use.
The creative desktop and community seems to be how I find myself walking. It is sharable and I have a lot of nice opensource stuff to play with for creating forums and other toys to populate that vision. I have a lot of work to do on it, but little time to devote to it. Sad how that works.
