I am starting to wonder if the world is just out to get me

I am still waiting on that new air card to get here. The story gets more aggravating by the day. Today’s misadventures in UPS screwups started yesterday. I was expecting delivery on Monday, yesterday. I checked online to see the tracking info since it was nearly 1500 and no UPS guy. I look and there’s this message stating there was an “exception”. What the hel I say? I called up UPS and asked them what was going on and they told me that they didn’t have the suite number. So, I gave them my office room number (The City of Houston owns the whole building, there are no suites, just room numbers,) and the floor number and my office phone number with explicit instructions to call me when they get to the lobby. The support lady on the phone assured me that it was all put into the special instructions and all was ready to go. I wait and expect delivery for the next day. The next morning arrives, I get online to see the tracking to make sure it really is on it’s way. I look at the page and to my disbelief it tells me that at 3 am they got the wild hair idea to send my new air card back to Kentucky! I was livid. It had taken it 4 days to get to Houston damn it! Oh gawds I was about ready to bite some random UPS guy’s head off at the next opportunity. I hurriedly call UPS back hoping to stop this madness. The poor lady on the phone took a while to get to my info and saw all that stuff I had them put into the special instructions window and she apologized and told me I had to now call Sprint. The gawl they had to make me fix their fuckups! I said probably rudely, “Excuse me, shouldn’t you call Sprint since this is UPS’s fault?”
“But we are going to refund the charges…”
“That doesn’t put an air card in my hand does it. That card was here, in Houston and just because your idiots cannot read special instructions or be so much as bothered to call me and at least give me the opportunity to let me pick it up, you had to send it back to Kentucky and you want me to call Sprint???”
She obviously was not able to help me any more than she had, it was like beating my head against a wall or try to get luggage from a gorilla. So I called Sprint. I got them to take down all this information about what had happened. They are supposed to send me back the card. I begged and pleaded with them not to use UPS again, the poor guy said he had no control over what service they were using to deliver stuff. I am not happy at all. I don’t expect to see this card for another week or two. I can’t begin to say how angry I am right now.
